1 <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />CONTRACT FOR SERVICES <br />This Agreement for services (this “Agreement”), is made and entered into this 14th day of <br />July, 2020, by and between ASAP Towing and Recovery, 1906 S. Olive St., South Bend, Indiana <br />46601, (hereinafter, “Contractor”), and the City of South Bend, Indiana (the “City”), by and <br />through its Board of Public Works (the “Board”) (each a “Party” and collectively the “Parties”). <br />WITNESSETH: That the Contractor agrees to perform the towing services as described in <br />Exhibit A, incorporated herein by this reference. <br />DESCRIPTION: Towing and storage services for City Police Initiated Tows <br />BEGINNING DATE: August 1, 2020 <br />ENDING DATE: July 31, 2023 (with option to renew for an additional 1year term) <br />As part of the services listed in Exhibit A, the Contractor agrees to submit to the City a monthly <br />report, using Exhibit B, Towing Data Entry Form, both exhibits incorporated herein by reference. <br />Reports must be submitted to the City on a monthly basis within 30 days of the close of each month <br />during the term of this Agreement. <br />ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT VEHICLE OWNERS, SUCH AS NAME, <br />ADDRESS, CREDIT/DEBIT CARD NUMBER OR OTHER FINANCIAL <br />INFORMATION MUST NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE INFORMATION PROVIDED TO <br />THE CITY. <br />The Contractor authorizes the City to post the reports on the City’s website and affirms its <br />understanding and consents for the City, at its sole discretion, to use the report data to perform <br />visual trending and data analytics to provide the public with at-a-glance information on City police <br />directed towing. <br />(Signatures appear on following page)
