Work included custom forming of the tangential approach <br />to the 250-ft deep drop shaft. Several cast-in-place concrete <br />structures were used to combine flow from surface CSO pipes <br />into the head chamber and then receive the flow at the tail <br />chamber and combine with another surface CSO pipe. Contract <br />Amount: $8,557,000 <br />CVG Airport Hub, Amazon Expansion, Hebron, Kentucky <br />Project Engineer on the >$1billion project to construct a new <br />package sortation facility. Kokosing self-performed over 7 <br />million cubic yards of mass excavation including significant <br />rock blasting and 25-miles of underground utilities including <br />major storm trunk lines, water, sanitary and other utilities. This <br />project was constructed adjacent to, and in some cases within <br />the boundary, of the CVG airport, requiring daily coordination <br />with multiple airport entities, adjacent property owners, and local <br />government agencies.
