Responses to Questions received July 6, 2023: <br />We noticed 3 separate seed mixes in the specifications. Please confirm what mix is <br />desired for the hydroseeding pay item. <br />ANSWER: Hydroseedine seed mixture shall be 50% Perennial Ryeerass and 5096 <br />Kentucky Bluerass. <br />2. For the transition between the existing finished HMA lot and the existing asphalt to be <br />surfaced, please confirm if transition milling will be required and if so, how that will be <br />paid for. <br />ANSWER: If transition milling is required to produce a quality finished product, it <br />should be considered incidental to the HMA pay items. <br />Please confirm that cleaning and tacking of the existing asphalt is included and <br />incidental to the HMA surface item for the overlay areas. <br />ANSWER: This is confirmed. <br />4. Can recycled crushed concrete be utilized for the #2 and #53 (or #73) aggregates on the <br />project?
