Other <br />(5) continued... <br />Levy that is allowed under HEA 1001 in <br />situations where the development area does <br />not generate enough tax revenue to support <br />its true obligations, in the sense of <br />contractuals. We may have areas where that <br />comes into play, specifically, the downtown. <br />We need to look at that and see if that makes <br />any sense. We are asking, again for anot-to- <br />exceed contract for $20,000. We don't think <br />it will come to that much. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />proposal for financial consulting services and <br />accepted the proposal from Crowe Chizek for <br />the scope of services and fee proposed <br />(TIF Replacement Worksheets) <br />(6) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for financial consulting services. <br />(TIF Calculation and Notification) <br />Mr. Inks noted that Crowe is working on <br />some updated TIF numbers for us for 2009 to <br />supplement the information we just looked at <br />on the project list and the notification to the <br />auditor. This is a similar contract to the other <br />two in anot-to-exceed amount of $20,000. <br />The cost should be significantly less than <br />that. It will be billed hourly. <br />Dr. Varner asked how this contract is <br />different than what we've asked Umbaugh to <br />do.
