PR-00024636 <br />DATE: 06/20/2023 <br />The engineering consultant’s opinion of cost for the base bid and both alternates for the above <br />project was lower than $150,000, so this was structured as a quote rather than a bid. Public works <br />solicited quotes from seven qualified firms know to perform these services. On June 13th, 2023, <br />the Board of Public Works opened and read 3 quotes received. It was <br />determined that the lowest quoted, Larson Danielson, made a good faith effort to try to meet <br />those goals. The Department of Public Works recommends awarding the base bid and both <br />alternates for a total contract of $167,046.00. The Department of Venues Parks & Arts has <br />appropriated sufficient funds in PROJ00000424. <br /> <br />Please call with any questions. Thank you. <br />
