Peak: <br /> A petition to vacate the following alley has been filed with the <br /> South Bend Common Council : <br /> The first East-West alley South of Monroe Street , <br /> running East from Main Street , for a distance of <br /> approximately 330 feet to Michigan Street , except- <br /> ing the right-of-way of the intersecting North- <br /> South alley. <br /> When such petitions are filed with the Council, they are <br /> referred to this office for review and recommendation. Prior to <br /> submitting a recommendation to the Council , the Board of Public <br /> Works notifies all abutting property owners that a public <br /> hearing will be held for the purpose of hearing all interested <br /> persons concerning the vacation. The Council also will conduct <br /> a public hearing at a subsequent date , and you will be so <br /> notified. <br /> This is to advise you that the Board of Public Works will hold a <br /> public hearing at 9 : 30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17 , 1987 , in <br /> the Board of Public Works Hearing Room, 1308 County-City <br /> Building , South Bend, Indiana, concerning the vacation of the <br /> above alleys .
