• <br /> • <br /> SUBSTITUTE BILL NO. 119-86 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 77,74'7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br /> INDIANA, AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS WITHIN CHAPTER 2, <br /> ARTICLE 7 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ADDRESSING <br /> BUDGETARY PROCEDURES <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> In 1981, the South Bend Common Council passed Ordinance No. 6912-81 <br /> which established specific budgetary procedures for the annual review of the <br /> municipal budget. <br /> Since then it has been determined that certain modifications should be <br /> made to make the procedure less cumbersome and more cost effective. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br /> SECTION I. Information required of each cost center <br /> includes: the account number, account description, and requested budget <br /> shall be included for each line-item with a detailed narrative description <br /> of the proposed uses of such funds. If the account number has changed from <br /> the prior year, the old number shall be included for reference purposes. <br />
