Notice of Public Hearing <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />Fellows Booster Station Replacement and Lead Service Line Replacement Program <br />Preliminary Engineering Report <br />Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that City of South Bend, Indiana will hold a public <br />hearing at 9:30 A.M. on June 13, 2023, in the Board of Public Works Conference Room, 227 <br />W.Jefferson Blvd., Suite 1308, South Bend, Indiana 46601 for a State Revolving Fund Loan <br />Application for a Drinking Water improvement project. <br />You can also attend the meeting virtually at https://tinyurl.com/2023BPWHybrid. <br />The City of South Bend’s engineering staff and consultant Donohue & Associates will present <br />the recommended projects, which will include the replacement of the Fellows Booster Station <br />water infrastructure and lead service line replacement program. The water infrastructure <br />improvements are part of the City’s Water Capital Improvement Program. <br />The project will be funded through a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) loan, if <br />accepted, and City capital funds. <br />Copies of the required Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) are available for public viewing <br />starting on May 26, 2022, through June 20, 2023, at the City of South Bend Public Works Office, <br />227 W. Jefferson Blvd., Suite 1316, South Bend, Indiana 46601. <br />There will be the opportunity for questions and comments from the public at this meeting. <br />Written comments from the public will be accepted through June 20, 2023. Your participation is <br />welcomed and encouraged.
