RESOLUTION NO. 28-2023 THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS SIGNATORY AUTHORIZATION RESOLUTION Whereas, the South Bend, Indiana, through its Board of Public Works (Participant), has plans for a wastewater infrastructure improvement project to meet State and Federal regulations and the Participant intends to proceed with the construction of such project: Whereas, the Participant has adopted this Resolution dated May 13, 2023, Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Participant, the governing body for the City of South Bend, that: 1.Mr. Eric C. Horvath, Public Works Director at City of South Bend, Indiana, be authorized to make application for a State Revolving Fund Loan (“SRF Loan”) and provide the SRF Loan Program such information, data and documents pertaining to the loan process as may be required, and otherwise act as the authorized representative of the Participant; and 2.The Participant agrees to comply with the Indiana Finance Authority, State of Indiana, and Federal requirements as they pertain to the SRF Loan Program; and 3.Two certified copies of this Resolution be prepared and submitted as part of the Participant’s Preliminary Engineering Report. Adopted and Passed by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, this 13th day of of May, 2023 at their regularly scheduled meeting.
