The project <br />includes various upgrades and amenity additions to LaSalle Park. We received the following bids. <br /> <br />The bidders ranked as follows: <br /> <br />Bidder Base Bid Alternate Total <br />1. R. Yoder Construction $1,977,062.00 $285,620.00 $2,262,682.00 <br />2. HRP Construction $2,104,084.40 $212,671.70 $2,316,756.10 <br /> <br /> <br />Following a review of the bids, it was determined that the bid from R Yoder Construction did not <br />provide evidence of a good faith effort toward M/WBE goals per the program plan. Public Works <br />recommends rejecting the alternate and awarding of the base bid for $2,104,084.40 to the <br />lowest responsive / responsible quoter, HRP Construction. <br /> <br />The Department of Public Works has appropriated sufficient funds from PR-00023569. <br /> <br />Please call with any questions. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
