<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Division of Utilities – Wastewater recommends a split award of the various chemical <br />contracts to the following suppliers as the lowest, responsive, responsible bidders: <br /> <br /> Chlorine – 1 Ton Cylinders: Alexander Chemical Corp. $1,799.00 Unit Price <br /> Ferric Chloride: Kemira $ 2.35 Unit Price <br /> Sulfur Dioxide – 1 Ton Cylinders: Alexander Chemical Corp. $ 999.00 Unit Price <br /> Dry Polymer Flocculent: Polydyne, Inc. $ 2.50 Unit Price <br /> <br />Important Clarification: <br />In accepting the subject chemical bids, the Divisions would like the Board to recognize that the <br />prices for Chlorine – 1 Ton Cylinders and Sulfur Dioxide – 1 Ton Cylinders are subject to <br />adjustment for market pricing throughout the 2023-24 contract period and could be impacted on <br />a quarterly basis subject to supplier providing notice of the changes. <br /> <br />The Division of Utilities – Wastewater will fund the treatment chemicals procurement through <br />Sewage Works Operations, Supplies-Operating-Water Treatment Chemicals Account <br />Number 641-06-605-514-422012. <br /> <br />For questions regarding the above recommendations, contact Kimberly Thompson (Ext. 5969) <br />or Nancy Clay (Ext. 5793) at the Division of Utilities, Wastewater.
