Qommitt Uport: <br /> Zoning att4 animation Qommittit <br /> The October 22, 2001 meeting of the Zoning and Annexation Committee was called to order by its <br /> Chairperson, Council Member Karen L. White 4:10 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting Room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members Aranowski, Kelly, King, Varner, Ujdak, <br /> Coleman,and White; Wayne Doolittle and John Oxian of the Historic Preservation Commission, <br /> Ed Levy, Michael Beitzinger, Terry Bland of the 'oUUj 3.Se1ttb Z*ibUfl , and Kathleen <br /> Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney. <br /> Council Member White noted that Mr. Oxian requested this meeting in order to provide an update <br /> on the proposed Historic Preservation District in the Park Avenue/Forest area. <br /> Mr. Oxian stated that standards have been prepared for the proposed historic district, however he <br /> has not seen them. He noted that discussions have been going on since 1976. He would like to <br /> see the standards before going forward on creating the district so that all of the information can be <br /> reviewed. He agreed to keep the Committee updated on this matter. <br /> Under unfinished matters, Council Member White noted a letter was sent to the South Bend <br /> Community School Corporation but they have not received any response. She will attempt to <br /> contact them again. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member White adjourned <br /> the meeting at 4:14 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Council Member Karen L.
