Adam Toering <br />Commissioner Dietz was late to the meeting. <br />He took his seat around Audio Position 2:38) <br />Staff Recommendation: The proposal calls for enlarging existing window openings and <br />creating new window openings. Where the openings will be created/enlarged, the <br />existing sills will be discarded and new 2" concrete sills will be installed. Staff <br />makes no recommendation based upon lack of information. <br />The applicant was represented by: Derek Swiscz, 609 Riverside Dr, South Bend, IN <br />46601 served as the applicant. <br />The public was represented by: there was no one from the public to speak. <br />After due consideration the following action was taken: <br />Upon a motion by Elizabeth Hertel, seconded by Peter DeKever, and carried by <br />vote, the Historic Preservation Commission APPROVES Certificate of <br />Appropriateness Application #2023-0403. <br />Vote: 5-0-1. Five in favor, none opposed, one abstained. <br />COA#2023-0403 is APPROVED. <br />b.
