• WHEREAS, the Commission in said Resolution No. 1053 <br />further authorized and directed the President, Vice President and <br />Secretary of the Commission to file a petition for approval of <br />execution of the Lease with the State Board of Tax Commissioners <br />pursuant to IC 6-1.1-18.5-8; and <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council at a meeting on May 11, 1992 <br />and after a public hearing, adopted Ordinance No. 8265-92 approving <br />the Lease; and <br />WHEREAS, the State Board of Tax Commissioners is <br />currently considering the Lease having received a favorable <br />recommendation regarding the Lease from the Local Government Tax <br />Control Board which held a hearing regarding the Lease on May 27, <br />1992; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority desires to authorize the execution <br />• of the Lease upon receipt of approval of the Lease from the State <br />Board of Tax Commissioners, a copy of which Lease is attached <br />hereto as "Exhibit A;" <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The President and Secretary of the Authority are <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute and attest, respectively, <br />the Lease following receipt of approval of the Lease from the State <br />Board of Tax Commissioners, in the form attached hereto as <br />"Exhibit A." <br />2. The Secretary of the Authority is hereby directed <br />to file a copy of the Lease, once executed, with the Commission. <br />• <br />-2- <br />
