Luecke, Dennis J. Andres, <br /> Wayne Doolittle, Liz Rowell, William Hoye, Robert Rosenfeld, Terry Bland of the a,out j 513tuO <br /> Zrihurct, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney. <br /> Council Member Coleman noted that members of the Committee included Council Members King, <br /> Aranowski and himself. <br /> Council Member Coleman then called for a presentation on Bill No. 95-01 which is a proposed <br /> appropriation in the amount of $ 24,800 from the Morris Performing Arts Center Improvement <br /> Fund, Fund No. 416. <br /> Mr. Dennis J. Andres, Executive Director of the Morris Performing Arts Center, made the <br /> presentation. He noted that$ 1.00 is charge per ticket and used to fund capital improvements. The <br /> appropriation would address customer needs and improvements. Mr. Andres noted that $ 15,500 <br /> would be used to purchase Box Office software and computer equipment; $ 3,250 would be used <br /> to upgrade the sound wiring system;and$ 6,000 would be used to purchase a floor scrubber. <br /> Following discussion, Council Member King made a motion, seconded by Council Member <br /> Aranowski that Bill No. 95-01 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. <br /> Dr. Varner complimented Mr. Andres for the new awning by the ticket area. Mr. Andres stated <br /> that once the sidewalk is completed that there will be a better flow to the area. <br /> Council Member Coleman noted that the next item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 98-01 <br /> which would amend Ordinance No. 9258-01 which would appropriate an additional $ 3,736.09 <br /> from the Hall of Fame Operations Fund (# 677) and an additional $ 122,802 from the College <br /> Football Hall of Fame Fund(#377) to satisfy the City's obligation to the National Football Hall of <br /> Fame. <br /> Mayor Stephen J. Luecke made the presentation. He apologized for having the Council act on this <br /> item again, noting that apparently the bill got lost in the shuffle. The Bill before the Council this <br /> evening sets forth the correct numbers. He noted that Liz Rowell was present to answer any <br /> detailed questions. <br /> Dr. Varner noted that the interim agreement called for quarterly reports and inquired whether such <br /> reports are being made. Mayor Luecke stated that Bernie Kish give monthly reports, since the <br /> format of the quarterly reports is still being discussed. Dr. Varner noted that the monthly reports <br /> no longer are sent to the Council. Mayor Luecke stated that he would contact Mr. Kish so that the <br /> reports would be forthcoming. <br /> Council Member Aranowski made a motion, seconded by Council Member King that Bill No. 98- <br /> 01 be recommended favorably. The motion passed. <br />
