In response to a question from Dr. Varner he noted that the fees
were a little higher per lineal foot;however they are based on the cost of service principal.
Following discussion, Council Member Coleman made a presentation, seconded by Council
Member Kelly that Substitute Bill No. 52-01 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion
passed.
Under miscellaneous business the Committee voiced concern about the various areas of the city
which are not hooked up to either water or sewer services. Mr. Gilot stated that the GIS map
would assist the Council on this issue.
Council Member King suggested that a meeting be held so that this issue could be discussed. Mr.
Gilot stated that he would schedule such a meeting.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned by
Council Member Kirsits at 5:21 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Council Member Al `Buddy"Kirsits, Chairperson
Utilities Committee
KCF:kmf
Attachment
•
