Incorporate extra work items in Divisions B, C, D and E that were necessary due to unforeseen site conditions and design changes. Extra work in Divsion B was for pipe pile obstructions, added Portage area work, gabion rework and a drainage structure modification. Extra work in Division C is due to the removal of a fish ladder pipe and turbine that was too high in the grade to allow the new design in the area to be built. Extra work in Division D was necessary to reroute an existing sanitary sewer that was found collapsed while excavating for a wall footing. Extra work in Division E was required to demo and fill in an existing underground vault that was discovered while excavating for a sidewalk ramp along the East Race. Two additional days were requested for the collapsed sanitary sewer work.
