Council Member Ujdak inquired about the pressure testing of the sewer lines. Mr. Littrell stated that the grades have been shot and no backups are contemplated. He stated that the water and sewers have been accepted but the roads have not been. The base coarse might have to be replaced in order to meet city standards. Mr. Littrell stated that there are proper measures in place between the bonding requirements and term to make the developer comply with all applicable standards. Following discussion, Dr. Varner made a motion, seconded by Council Member Coleman that Bill No. 00-25 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. The Committee then reviewed Bill No. 00-26 which is the fiscal plan and policy for services for the proposed Staszewski Annexation in German Township. Mr. Larry Magliozzi made the presentation and provided the following replacement pages to his report: 3, 6, 7, 8, and 11 (copies attached). He noted that this is a City initiated annexation and that the property owners are in favor of the project. The annexation area is located on the east side of Olive Road north of Cleveland Road and consists of .50 acres. It currently contains a single family residence which would be demolished by i Redevelopment. Following discussion, Council Member Coleman made a motion, seconded by Dr. Varner, that Bill No. 00-26 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed.
