Ms. Baumgartner noted fifty-six. <br /> Council Member Ujdak inquired of Mr. Byorni the types of uses which would be permitted <br /> under the current zoning classification. Mr. Byorni stated that retail uses, offices, car <br /> repair centers, etc were all permitted. He further noted that currently the parcel is not zoned <br /> to a current site plan. Council Member Ujdak noted that he had been in contact with Mrs. <br /> Bosh regarding his concerns, and in light of the assurances from the Housing <br /> Development Corporation especially with regard to parking, that the rezoning would be an <br /> appropriate use of the property. <br /> Council President Pfeifer noted that in the many other Housing Development Corporation <br /> projects they have been good neighbors and she has no reason to believe that they would <br /> not be in the instant case. <br /> Dr. Varner inquired about the project. Ms. Baumgartner stated that there would be 1,300 <br /> square feet per nth the units being stacked per the Fire the units. The units are of a <br /> townhouse style g <br /> Following discussion, Council Member Ujdak made a motion, seconded by Council <br /> Member Coleman that Bill No. 5-00 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion <br /> passed. <br /> Mr. Oxian,President of the Historic Preservation Commission, requested that Bill No. 11- <br /> 00 a request to establish the Angela Boulevard Bridge as an historic landmark be continued <br /> until the April 10, 2000 meeting. He noted that only the bridge rails would be demolished. <br /> The Committee then reviewed Bill No. 00-25 which is a written fiscal plan and policy for <br /> Magliozzi, Assistant <br /> services for Royal Oak Annexation in Centre Township. The area is proposed to be zoned "A" single family <br /> residential. His department is currently developing a system to address the assigning of <br /> costs. <br /> Council Member King inquired about city services. Mr. Magliozzi stated that the lines for <br /> water and sewer are in the area. The top coat paving is not complete but the streets will be <br /> built to city standards. <br /> Council Member Ujdak inquired about the roads and drainage in the area. Carl Littrell, <br /> City Engineer,stated that the concept and design for the area was acceptable. The project <br /> has received proper IDEM permits. The county has not done any inspections however the <br /> city has tested the sewers for quality and grade. The project failed the initial testing for <br /> leaks(an air test)which resulted from a manufacturers defect in the pipe fittings.
