CR-05-Goals and Outcomes <br /> Progress the jurisdiction has made in carrying out its strategic plan and its action plan. 91.520(a) <br /> This could be an overview that includes major initiatives and highlights that were proposed and executed throughout the program year. <br /> During 2022,Seventy-four(74)South Bend households received help with housing issues.The housing counseling program served Twenty-three <br /> (23)clients. Twenty-five(25)low-mod income homeowners received needed repairs through the Rebuilding Together Program. The <br /> Community Homebuyers Corporation(CRC)assisted nine low-mod income buyers purchase their first home. <br /> In addition,the City of South Bend supported affordable housing through five major partners:South Bend Heritage Foundation(SBHF),the Near <br /> Northwest Neighborhood,Inc.(NNN),the Northeast Neighborhood Revitalization Organization(NNRO),466 Works Community Development <br /> Corporation,and Habitat for Humanity of St.Joseph County. <br /> SBHF has developed affordable housing for the residents of South Bend for over 40 years. SBHF currently focuses its efforts in the Near West <br /> Side and Lincoln Park neighborhoods. In 2022 SBHF completed the following projects: <br /> • Twenty-two(22)permanent supportive housing units; <br /> • Four(4)new construction rental units; <br /> • Two(2)rental unit rehabs. <br /> SBHF projects expected to be completed in 2023: <br /> • Two(2)single-family new construction homes; <br /> • Three(3)rental unit rehabs; <br /> • One(1)new construction rental unit <br /> SBHF Project expected to be completed in 2024: <br /> • Fifty-four(54)Permanent Supportive Housing rental units. <br /> CAPER 1 <br /> OMB Control No:2506-0117(exp.09/30/2021) <br />
