Phase 1 <br />• Project Cost: $2.93M <br />• A&Z Key Staff: Warren Zwick, PE | Landon Grogg, EI | Mark Voss <br />• Client Contact: Suzanne Handshoe | Mayor, City of Kendallville <br />A&Z has been coordinating efforts between the City of Kendallville, East Noble <br />Community Schools, Noble County Officials, and area residents in order to im- <br />prove this corridor. The scope of this project includes roadway reconstruction with <br />new curb and gutter. Moreover, this project included developing a route for chil- <br />dren to access the newly constructed East Noble Middle School. Intersection/ <br />crosswalk safety and accessible bicycle and pedestrian sidewalks are of para- <br />mount importance for this project. Project, the Kennedy School SRTS project serves students from multiple <br />neighborhoods surrounding the school. A&Z Engineering is prepared to work with all stakehold- <br />ers to determine the best route to designate for maximum safety. Additionally, A&Z knows that <br />this project has the potential to serve more than just children who walk or cycle to school.
