FVU/SVU <br />•Since reorganization of unit, SBPD assigns 2 sworn detectives and <br />pays for 3 non-sworn positions. <br />•The DV investigations (that do not involve sexual assaults are either <br />direct-shipped via patrol closure and/or investigated in house)-are still <br />communicated with the FJC/YWCA and advocates. <br />•Assaults against children are only investigated by FVU/SVU if it is <br />parental assault. <br />•43 of 45 DV cases from 10-15-2021 to 12-31-2021 were solved (95%) <br />•To date, 77% of DV cases are solved (62 reports total).
