<br />EXHIBIT A <br />FURTHER DESCRIPTION OF BASIC ENGINEERING SEFtViCES ANU RELATED MATTERS <br />Paragraph 4.1. ...complete the final design phase for the design as <br />defined in Section 3 of this Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />Paragraph 4.2. Rights-of-Way <br />4.2.1. Roadway ~- <br />.4.2.1.1. Provide-plats and legal description(s) for <br />roadway rights-of-way. <br />4.2.1.2•. Provide a plat similar to a subdivision plat <br />for the dedication of rights-of-way. <br />4.2.1.3. Coordinate with the St. ~eseph County Area <br />Plan Commission for acceptability. <br />4.2.1.4. Make presentation to Area Plan Commission and <br />City Council for Plat approval. <br />4.2.2. Utility Easements <br />4.2.2.1. Prepare legal descriptions for drainage and <br />utility easements. <br />4.2.3. .Right-of-Way Services not included <br />4.2.3.1. Rights-of-Way services do not include <br />appraisal and buying services, <br />Paragraph 4.4. Utility Agreements and Coordination <br />4.4.1.. Coordinate utility design with public and private <br />uti]ities. <br />4.4.2. .Furnish utility agreements covering construction in the <br />public right-of-way using standard agreement forms. <br />4.4.3. Furnishing of agreements under this Section 4.4. does not <br />include legal or negotiating service nor does it include <br />the development of specific agreement forms beyond the <br />scope of the standard agreement forms used in Local <br />Public Agency - INDOT projects. <br />Paragraph 4.5. Regulatory Agency Permits <br />4.5.1. .ENGINEER shall prepare application for construction <br />permits for submission to the Indiana Department of <br />Environmental Management (1DEM) for both sanitary sewers <br />and potable water transmission lines. <br />4.5.2. ENGINEER shall submit permit application(s) and required <br />supporting documentation to OWNER for review, execution, <br />and submission to 1DEM. <br />4.5.3.
