<br />EXHIBIT A <br />FURTHER DESCRIPI~IUN OF BASIC ENGINEERING SERVICES AND RELATED MATTERS <br />Paragraph 2.2. Master Plan <br />The Master Plan prepared by -0WNEk shall be~considered to~ satisfy the <br />requirements of Paragraphs 1.2.4, 1.2.5, 1.2.6, and 1.2.7. If further <br />information is required by OWNER to fulfill the requirements for <br />Paragraphs 1.2.4 thru 1.2.7, the work required to provide such <br />information shall be considered as "Additional Services" fn accordance <br />with Section 2 and Section 5. <br />Paragraph 3.1. Further Project Description <br />U <br />This scope of serv ice covers the necessary survey, design, right-of-way <br />plats, and 1ega1 descriptions and construction inspection services for <br />the relocation of Old Cleveland Road from the-east end of the Old <br />.Cleveland Road Bridge over the U.S. 31 South Bend Bypass east to <br />Mayflower Road. This project includes relocated roadway, new sanitary <br />sewers,-water mains, storm water drainage and lighting. Provisions are <br />to be made for electrical service, telephone service and gas service, <br />however, the actual design of these services is not a part of this <br />contract. <br />Paragraph 3.2. Survey <br />Design ~is to be based upon aerial. mapping furnished by the OWNER. <br />Survey requirements-are for those items necessary, to supplement the <br />aerial survey. <br />3.2.1. Locate and establish the Section Corners and Quarter <br />Section corners necessary to locate survey lines and <br />property lines. <br />3.2.2. Stake centerline geometries and reference control points. <br />3.2.3. Locate underground transmission pipelines <br />3.2.4. Determine centerline profile .elevations at 100 foot <br />intervals or as needed, to verify the aerial survey <br />contour information. <br />3.2.5. Set Bench Mark elevations at appropriate intervals for <br />use in survey and construction. <br />3.2.6. Locate existing property lines for U.S. 31, To11 Road, <br />Mayflower Road and present Old Cleveland Road. <br />3.2.7. Verify invert elevations for the existing sewer in <br />present Old Cleveland Road. <br />3.2.8. Stake lot corners. <br />3.2.9. Staking of the centerline, centerline .control points, <br />reference points,. bench marks and iot corners shall be <br />accomplished one (1) time.
