<br />INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Members of the Board of Public Works <br />Michael Schmidt, Assistant City Attorney <br />FROM: Theresa Heffner, Clerk to the Board of Public Works <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />2023 Water Works Utility Service Line Repair Program <br />Agenda Request – Opening of Bids <br />January 11, 2023 <br /> <br />On Friday, December 30, 2022 at 4:13 p.m. Carol Laskowski from Bob Frame Plumbing <br />Services, Inc. submitted an application for the 2023 Water Works Utility Service Line <br />Program. At 4:04 p.m. on the same day, Ms. Laskowski also submitted an application for <br />the 2023 Sewer Insurance Program. The sewer item was not being opened at the <br />January 10, 2023 board meeting, so submissions were to be sent to Larry Parker, Kevin <br />Dombrowski, and Kim Thompson. When I received the application for the 2023 Water <br />Works Utility Service Line Program, I confused it with the one for the sewer and did not <br />place it into the proper bid folder for the bid opening on January 10, 2023. Due to this <br />error, the bid was not read into the record. This was in error, so we are asking for the <br />Board to accept and approve the opening of this bid as it was submitted on time. The <br />inclusion of this bid did not negatively impact any other submissions. <br /> <br />
