Comm Win Zsport: <br /> Public Works and Property Vacation Committee <br /> the Common Council of the tit of it,outb 140: <br /> The February 22, 1999 meeting of the Public Works and Property Vacation Committee was <br /> called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member David Varner at 3:47 p.m. in the <br /> Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Aranowski, Kelly, Varner, Pfeifer, <br /> Ujdak and King; Terry Bland, John Oxian, Larry D. Sehl, Barbara L. Sehl and Kathleen <br /> Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Council Member Varner noted that the first item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 8-99 <br /> which is an ordinance requesting the vacation of a portion of an alley in the Frantz's <br /> Addition. <br /> Mr. Larry D. Sehl, the petitioner introduced himself and his wife, Barbara, to the <br /> Committee. He noted that the vacation is being requested since the alley in question has not <br /> been used except for parking since 1984. <br /> No one spoke in favor or against the proposed vacation from the public. <br /> Dr. Varner noted that the Board of Public Works sent the request to the Council with a <br /> favorable recommendation(copy attached). <br /> In light of the Committee not having a quorum, no formal action was taken by the <br /> Committee. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee,the meeting was adjourned <br /> at 3:52 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Council Member David Varner <br /> Chairperson,Public Works and Property Vacation Committee <br /> Attachments <br /> • <br /> • <br />
