| Local Limitations: MAIL Daily and Monthly <br />January 6, 2023 <br />Board of Public Works <br />City of South Bend <br />1316 County City Building <br />227 West Jefferson Boulevard <br />South Bend IN 46601 <br />RE: Local Limits Technical Evaluation <br />Dear Board Members: <br />The City of South Bend performed a quinquennial (every 5 years) Technical Evaluation of Local <br />Limitations, as required by the Environmental Protection Agency in conjunction with the <br />reissuance of our National Pollutions Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit. The new <br />Local Limits do not require for any Industrial Permit or the Sewer Use Ordinance to be changed. <br />The Local Limitations have been approved by EPA in conjunction with Indiana Department of <br />Environmental Management (IDEM). <br />With the approval of EPA and IDEM we are wanting to officially submit a record of the new <br />Local Limitations to the Board of Public Works. No further action is being requested.
