In Conclusion <br />Milestone Contractor's and will adhere to an Alcohol and Drug -Free Workplace Policy. Any employee <br />who is forthcoming and admits to a Substance abuse problem prior to being identified through any form <br />of substance abuse testing will be offered help; however, any employee who uses an EAP because of a <br />positive drug or alcohol test will be subject to the conditions outlined in the testing portion of this policy <br />and as set forth by the EAP counselor. <br />All Information received by the employer because of drug or alcohol testing, including EAP counseling <br />are to remain confidential, only those with a need to know should have access to those <br />communications. <br />A refusal to submit to a drug and alcohol screen may result in dismissal and be considered a positive <br />result. In addition, the following situations may also result in disciplinary action up to and including <br />termination of employment: <br />• Failure to take drug or alcohol test In a timely manner. <br />• Failure to Appear for testing. <br />• Failure to accept the EAP recommendations when required to use the EAP due to a positive <br />test or violation of a company rule pertaining to drugs or alcohol. <br />• Failure to report a work -related injury in a timely manner solely for the purpose of <br />circumventing post -accident testing. <br />4 <br />
