<br />CO2 emissions from vehicles is one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions. 63% of all of the
<br />freight in North America is delivered by truck, making the vast network of freight lines that cross our country an
<br />undeniable factor. Long before long-distance, emissions -free trucks were even a concept, we knew we had to
<br />come up with solutions to mitigate the harm that delivering goods from our factories to our customers created.
<br />Our seven manufacturing facilities are strategically located throughout the U.S., decreasing the distance it
<br />takes to get our products to our customers and reducing the amount of carbon emissions released into the
<br />atmosphere. Shorter freight lanes also reduces transportation costs. In addition, our efficient design of carts
<br />means that we can fit more product per truckload, reducing the number of required shipments for the same
<br />overall amount of product. If you thought that was a big enough improvement for us, then you're probably not
<br />very familiar with Rehrig Pacific. When stacked, the barcodes on our carts remain clearly visible, improving
<br />work order efficiency and decreasing operating costs for repairs and deliveries.
<br />Shorter distances go a long way. We estimate a carbon emissions reduction of 6.6 million lbs. (an 86%
<br />reduction by comparison) when compared to other cart suppliers. Bottom line is, our unique manufacturing
<br />footprint, innovation and efficiency in serving every corner of the country means less emissions, less
<br />complexity, and a lot more value for our customers —with shorter freight lines, we can get our customers what
<br />they need, exactly when they need it.
