tossittu Attpott: <br /> Personnel and Finance Committee <br /> i0 tfjt tOmmOn toutitti of OS efts of Mouth limb.: <br /> The April 12, 1999 meeting of the Personnel and Finance was called to order by its <br /> Chairperson, Council Member James Aranowski at 3:40 p.m. in the Council informal <br /> meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Aranowski, Ujdak, Kelly, and <br /> Sniadecki;Nancy Van Scoyk,and Terry Bland. <br /> Council Member Aranowski noted that the first item on the agenda was to review Bill No. <br /> 24-99 which would amend the salary ordinance for non-bargaining employees of the City <br /> of South Bend for Calendar Year 1999. The Bill addressed seven (7)positions as <br /> addressed in the letter from Cathy Hubbard-Shead dated March 15, 1999 (attached). <br /> Following the presentation on the Bill,Bill No.24-99 was recommended favorable to full <br /> Council. <br /> The Committee then reviewed Bill No.25-99 which would amend Chapter 19,Article 3 of <br /> the South Bend Municipal Code regulating meetings, exhibitions and other public events in <br /> the interest of safety. The Bill was proposed by Chief Gunn as addressed in his letter of <br /> March 15, 1999 (attached). <br /> Following the presentation on the Bill,Bill No.25-99 was recommended favorable to full <br /> Council. <br /> Under miscellaneous business,the Committee informally discussed Bill No. 99-26 which <br /> is the confirming Resolution for the property located at 6851 Enterprise Drive for <br /> Enterprise Centre Partners, PE. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee,the meeting was adjourned <br /> at 3:50 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> James Aranowski,Chairperson <br /> Personnel&Finance Committee <br /> KCF:kmf <br /> Attachments <br /> • <br />
