�j. <br /> atommttttt Attport: <br /> Personnel and Finance Committee <br /> go the Common tountfl of ttit City of ioutb Ova: <br /> The November 22, 1999 meeting of the Personnel and Finance was called to order by its <br /> Chairperson, Council Member James Aranowski, at 4:55 p.m. in the Council informal <br /> meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Aranowski, Varner, Ujdak, Pfeifer, <br /> Kelly, Coleman, and King; Ron O'Connor and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Council Member Aranowski noted that the first item to be reviewed by the Committee was <br /> Bill NO. 102-99 which would establish a special grant fund. <br /> Ron O'Connor,Director of Finance made the presentation. He noted that the new fund is <br /> needed to avoid the commingling of miscellaneous grant and special funds from the federal <br /> and state governments and from private gifts. All monies deposited into the new fund <br /> would be exclusively used for the stated intent in the grant application or as requested by <br /> the donor. <br /> Following discussion, Council Member Karl King made a motion, seconded by Council <br /> Member Varner,that Bill No. 102-99 be recommended favorably to Council.
