eommitttu *Oat: <br /> Personnel and Finance <br /> IT0 tht Common QCo uuti of tfje City of 0outb 141 0: <br /> The October 12, 1998 meeting of the Personnel and Finance Committee was called to order <br /> by its Chairperson, Council Member John Broden at 3:30 p.m. in the Council informal <br /> meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Councilmembers: Aranowski, Varner, Broden, Coleman, <br /> Kelly, and Pfeifer; Carl Littrell, Terry Bland, Robert Hunt, Eugenia Schwartz, and <br /> Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> The first item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 84-98 which would appropriate $ <br /> 89,639 from Project Releaf. <br /> Carl Littrell made the presentation. He noted that the appropriation is necessary to fund the <br /> leaf pick-up and disposal program. Funds for the program are generated by the $.18 <br /> charge on the water bill. The program will begin October 26th and run for six (6) weeks. <br /> Forty (40) seasonal part-time workers will be hired for the program. <br /> Following discussion, Council Member Aranowski made a motion, seconded by Council <br /> Member Varner, that Bill No. 84-98 be recommended favorably to Council.
