This ordinance reflects the need to maintain city assets as well <br />as fund on-going community programs. A report of the detail will follow as well as a <br />report on the 2006 capital accomplishments. I expect the Personnel and Finance <br />Committee will want to set more than one hearing to discuss the above. <br />It has also become necessary to make additional title changes and salary adjustments for <br />2007 in the Department of Finance in order to attract qualified personnel to fill current <br />vacancies. These proposed changes will bring efficiency and increased accountability. <br />A few minor corrections to the overall salary ordinance are also proposed. <br />If you have any further questions, please call.
