r ~_, ~• RESOLUTION NO. 29 RESOLUTION OF-THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY APPROVING AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT RELATING TO THE... ISSUANCE OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY TAXABLE LEASE RENTAL REVENUE BONDS°(AIRPORT ECONOMIC. DEVELOPMENT AREA PUBLIC"IMPROVEMENT PROJECT) AND AUTHORIZING DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the "Authority") at a meeting on December 17, 1990 adopted Resolution No. 26 (the "Taxable Bond Resolution") authorizing the issuance and sale of bonds to be known as the "South Bend Redevelopment Authority Taxable Lease Rental Revenue Bonds (Airport Economic Development Area Public Improvement Project)" re ate axr nc Baldsum pursuant to IC 36-7-14.5 et se ., in the agg g P P of Four Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,200,000), the proceeds of which are to be used to finance certain land and public improvements (the "Taxable Improvement Project") and to pay the costs of issuance of the Taxable Bonds; and WHEREAS, an Official Statement dated December 21, 1990, (the "Official Statement") relating to the issuance of the Bonds has been prepared by H. J. Umbaugh & Associates, as financial advisors to the Authority, and presented to the Authority; WHEREAS, the Authority desires to publish notice of intent to sell bonds as provided for in the Taxable Bond Resolution; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Official Statement is hereby approved in the form presented to the Authority at this meeting, contained therein, and the .Official Statement in the form presented at this meeting is hereby deemed final for purposes of the provisions of Rule 15c2-12 of the Securities and Exchange Commission. H. J. Umbaugh & Associates is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be distributed such statement substantially in the form presented to this meeting, with such changes as may be required by amendments to the Lease between the Redevelopment Authority and the Redevelopment Commission dated August 1, 1990 which are approved by the Authority's legal counsel. as H. J. Umbaugh might recommend to describe adequately the Taxable Bonds and information related thereto, to all parties who in their judgment may be interested in bidding on such Taxable Bonds; and the Authority-shall place a copy of such Official Statement as presented to this meeting with the minutes of this meeting. 2. The Secretary of the Authority is authorized and directed to publish notice of intent to sell bonds as provided for
