G°omown, eowuiG ff•tit* et'ep f'Joat4 �`eizd <br /> The September 8, 1997 meeting of the Public Works and Property Vacation Committee <br /> was called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member David Varner at 5:00 p.m. in the <br /> Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Kelly, Ujdak, Varner, Coleman, <br /> Pfeifer, Sniadecki,Broden and Hosinski;Terry Bland,Mike Beitzinger William and Sally <br /> Grossnickle,John Peddycord and Kathy Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Council Member Varner noted that the first item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 84- <br /> 97 which is a request to vacate an alley near Mishawaka Avenue. Mr. Peddycord, the <br /> attorney for Mr. &Mrs. Grossnickle made the presentation. He noted that the vacation is <br /> necessary to allow for additional parking spaces at Creative Teaching which is located at <br /> � <br /> 2503 Mishawaka Avenue. He provided a plat map of the area in question(copy attached). <br /> II <br /> Dr. Varner noted that the Board of Public Safety has sent this request with a favorable <br /> recommendation(copy attached). <br /> Following discussion, Council Member Udjak made a motion seconded by Council <br /> Member Broden that Bill No. 84-97 be recommended favorably to Council.
