Qtommftttt .tport: <br /> Public Works and Property Vacation Committee <br /> to the COmmOn tOUntttl Of the Cttt of South Stub: <br /> The February 10, 1997 meeting of the Public Works and Property Vacation Committee was <br /> called to order by its Chairperson, Councilmember David Varner, at 4:25 p.m. in the <br /> Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Councilmembers Kelly, Aranowski, Pfeifer, Broden, <br /> Ujdak, Coleman, Hosinski, and Sniadecki; Ann Kolata, Don Porter, Chief Gunn, Sue <br /> Hodgson,Jon Hunt,Assistant Chief Kilgore and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> The Committee reviewed Bill No. 6-97 which is a request to vacate certain property south <br /> of Keasey Street. Ann Kolata made the presentation. She noted that the overall purpose of <br /> the proposed vacation is to prepare a site for the development of the Memorial/Southeast <br /> Urban Care Center. <br /> Councilmember Varner noted that all of the reports from all of the various departments <br /> were favorable and that the Board of Public Works sent a favorable recommendation to the <br /> committee(copy attached). <br /> Following discussion, Councilmember Ujdak made a motion, seconded by Council <br /> member Aranowski,that Bill No. 6-97 be recommended favorably.
