1Commttttt Ztport: <br /> Public Works and Property Vacation Committee <br /> to the Common l onnttl of the ttti of 6o tt j latttb: <br /> The June 10, 1996 meeting of the Public Works and Property Vacation Committee was <br /> called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member David Varner at 4:25 P.M. in the <br /> Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Varner,Luecke, Zakrzewski, Broden, <br /> Coleman,and Pfeifer; Gabriel Okafor,Don Porter, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Council Member Varner noted that the petitioner for Bill No. 26-96 which would vacate a <br /> certain alley South of Sunnymede has requested that this Bill be continued until July 8, <br /> 1996. <br /> The Committee then reviewed Bill No.32-96 which would vacate various streets and alleys <br /> in order to prepare a site for the development of Indiana Vocational Technical College.Mr. <br /> Gabriel Okafor made the presentation. He noted that Staff members had met with the <br /> various property owners and also the Christ Temple Church and that an agreement would <br /> be forth coming so that there could be access to the church. <br /> Following discussion, Council Member Pfeifer made a motion, seconded by Council <br /> Member Zakrzewski, that Bill No 32-96 be recommended favorably to Council.
