C' ~ ~ <br />w - 1 1 <br />i <br />RESOLUTION NO. 24 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />APPROVING A PROPOSED LEASE FOR CERTAIN LAND AND <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND. REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY, AS LESSOR, AND THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION, AS LESSEE, AND APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS, <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND COST ESTIMATES FOR THE PROJECTS <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the <br />"Authority") intends to issue its South Bend Redevelopment <br />Authority Revenue Bonds (the "Bonds") to finance the acquisition <br />and redevelopment of the Airport Economic Development Area (the <br />"Area") established by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the <br />"Commission") in its Resolution No. 919 adopted on February 23, <br />• 1990, including certain projects identified in the economic <br />development plan for the Area approved by the Commission in said <br />Resolution (the "Projects"); and <br />WHEREAS, the preliminary plans, specifications and cost <br />estimates for the Projects have been filed with the Authority and <br />the Authority desires to approve them; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority desires to enter into and adopt <br />a proposed lease to be dated as of August 1, 1990, with the South <br />Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission") in the form <br />presented at this meeting, a copy of which is attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A, for the purpose of paying the principal and interest on <br />its Bonds issued to finance the Projects, pursuant to IC 36-7- <br />14.5-19; <br /> <br />
