CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIVISION OF ENGINEERING <br />TO: Members of the Board of Public Works <br />FROM: Sarah Barber, Senior Engineer <br />SUBJECT: 122-019 Sewer and Manhole Rehabilitation <br />DATE: November 1, 2022 <br />The Department of Public Works Division of Engineering requests the Board of Public Works <br />approval of a Request to Advertise for the receipt of Public Bids for Project No. 122-019 Sewer and <br />Manhole Rehabilitation at its November 8, 2022 meeting. <br />The Sewer and Manhole Rehabilitation project includes the lining of select sewer segments <br />throughout South Bend and the cleaning of select interceptor line segments. This work is under <br />DFO Project No. PROJ00000299 Sewer and Ma nhole Rehabilitation, Repair, & Cleaning. <br />The project schedule consists of the follow: <br />•November 18, 2022 – First Advertisement <br />•November 25, 2022 – Second Advertisement <br />•November 29, 2022 – Pre-Bid Meeting at County City Building <br />•December 13, 2022 – Bid Opening <br />•December 20, 2022 – Bid Award <br />For questions regarding the subject agenda request, contact Sarah Barber (Ext. 9805) at the <br />Division of Engineering.
