I~ <br />• <br />(7) The construction of the Rink Riverside Walkway Project <br />consisting of the construction of an eight foot wide concrete and <br />timber walk and its incidental riverbank support system along the top <br />of the eastern bank of the St..Joseph River which will connect the <br />termination point of the existing portion of the Riverbank Trail to <br />the north with the Colfax Avenue sidewalk, a distance of <br />approximately 280 feet to the southeast including the construction of <br />a ground level sidewalk west and north to the southwest corner of the <br />Rink Riverside Building, a distance of approximately 230 linear feet <br />and the construction of a structural wood deck walkway from the <br />southwest corner of the Rink Riverside Building north to the existing <br />wooden deck of the LaSalle-Sycamore Walkway, a distance of <br />.approximately 140 .feet supported by a system of pilings and piers on <br />the Riverbank and appurtenant work along with the removal of a 100 <br />foot high brick smokestack and such other required related <br />improvements and landscaping, such construction and related <br />improvements to be made to the following described real estate <br />acquired or to be acquired by the Authority: <br />That part of the Northwest quarter of Section 12, <br />Township 37 North, Range 2 East and that part of Lots <br />7, 8 and 9 in the Original Plat of the Town of Lowell, <br />now apart of the City of South Bend as recorded in the <br />records of St. Joseph County, Indiana, which is <br />described as: <br />Beginning at the point of intersection of the north <br />line of Colfax Avenue and the west line of Sycamore <br />Street; thence west (assumed bearing} along a line 10 <br />feet north and parallel to the northerly line of Colfax <br />• <br />
