<br />Imagineering Finishing Technologies <br /> Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit page 8 of 42 <br /> <br />Facility Description <br /> <br />Imagineering Finishing Technologies is a Metal Finisher that performs Chemfilm (Alodine), zinc phosphate metal <br />finishing, zinc manganese metal finishing, and chromate passivation of panels, parts and pieces. Therefore, <br />Imagineering is subject to the discharge limitations found in 40 CFR 433.17. <br /> <br />PART I – EFFLUENT LIMITATION <br /> <br />A. Sample Port and Collection Location <br /> <br />1. Sample site 260 is located after the final pH tank in an open top weir box with V-notch overflow. <br />Composite samples are collected in the final discharge tank after the weir box, and grab samples <br />are collected from the overflow after the V-notch weir. The discharge at this point is strictly <br />process wastewater which has been treated <br /> <br />2. Any discharge of water or waste having a pH lower than 6.0 S.U. or a pH higher than 11.0 S.U. is <br />prohibited. If <br />“Report” appears on the table, it has been determined that an allocation of this pollutant is not necessary. The <br />permittee shall compare any monitoring data for these pollutants with the screening table in Part I (3) below. If
