<br /> <br />INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DIVISION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Board of Public Works <br />Theresa Heffner, Clerk <br />FROM: Leslie Biek, P.E., Assistant City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Linden Ave Streetscape Design and Inspection with VS Engineering <br />PN 122-050 <br />DATE: 10/14/2022 <br />Attached is a PSA with VS Engineering to perform the design and inspection services for the Linden Ave <br />Streetscape from College St to Birdsell St. The project will be bid and constructed in 2023. The streetscape <br />design elements will include landscaping, raised crosswalks and intersection, bike lanes and aims to <br />prompt future growth in the area and is in coordination with the Dream Center project. <br /> <br />The design phase of the project has a not to exceed price of $115,000 and the Inspection phase of the <br />project has a not to exceed price of $76,000. The funding for this agreement is being paid through the <br />River West TIF. <br /> <br />It is requested the Board of Public Works approve the PSA with VS Engineering for the design and <br />inspection of the Linden Ave Streetscape project for a contract price of $191,000. <br /> <br />Thank you for your consideration of this request. <br /> <br /> <br />
