COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT NO.4 IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />Request to rezone the properties from NC Neighborhood Center to U3 Urban Neighborhood 3 to <br />unify the zoning of a split zoned lot <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, as follows: <br />SECTION I. Ordinance No. 10689-19, which ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning <br />Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby amended in order that the <br />zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph <br />County, State of Indiana: <br />A PART OF LOTS 274, 275, 268, 269, AND THE ADJACENT VACATED NORTH- <br />SOUTH ALLEY IN SAMUEL L. COTTRELL'S FIRST ADDITION TO LOWELL,BEING <br />IN THE WEST HALF OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP <br />37 NORTH, RANGE 2 EAST, PORTAGE TOWNSHIP, CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST. <br />JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />BEGINNING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 1 IN RIVER WALK <br />SUBDIVISION AS RECORDED AS INSTRUMENT NUMBER 1712454 IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE RECORDER OF ST.
