O SpUTH\ <br />OCT 17 2122 <br />Iw ;i: Din, ` a <br />PEACE/ >- <br />1865 <br />ND,IN <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />COMMUNITY INVESTMENT <br />October 17, 2022 <br />Ms.Sharon McBride <br />President,South Bend Common Council <br />4th Floor County City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Re: A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,APPROVING <br />AND ADOPTING THE NORTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN <br />Dear President McBride: <br />Scheduled on the Common Council's agenda for October 24th is a resolution,approving and adopting <br />the Northeast Neighborhood Plan. <br />The Northeast Neighborhood is in the northeast quadrant of South Bend and is roughly bounced by <br />Angela Boulevard on the north,Twyckenham Drive on the east, LaSalle Avenue on the south,and Niles <br />Avenue and Michigan Street on the west.The City of South Bend developed this plan through a process <br />that engaged residents, businesses, institutions,government agencies, and other neighborhood <br />stakeholders. <br />The Northeast Plan was approved and adopted by the South Bend Plan Commission on September 19, <br />2022.
