Comm Ulu Z*port:
Zoning and Annexation Committee
"Eo the Common Coma of tbt ittty of ffioutb stub:
The June 12, 1995 meeting of the Zoning and Annexation Committee was called to
order by its Chairperson, Council Member Lee Slavinskas at 3:15 P.M. in the Council
informal meeting room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members: Luecke, Kelly, Puzzello,
Slavinskas, Zakrzewski, Duda, and Ladewski; John Byorni, Andy Nevin, Tony
McManus,Terry Bland,Doug Carpenter, John Ford, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Council Member Slavinskas noted that Bill No. 20-95 an alley vacation for south
Franklin has been asked by the petitioner to be continued until the Council meeting of July
10, 1995.
The Committee then reviewed Bill No. 23-95 which is a zoning request for the
property located at 3402 Lincolnway West. Mr. John Byorni showed the final site plan of
the area in question and noted that it is being sent favorably by both the Commission and
the Staff.
Mr. John Ford the attorney for the petitioner made the presentation. It would be used by Kurt Concrete Inc. as their office if the rezoning request is
approved. They would have a total of 12 employees. It was further noted that it would be a
less intensive use then the prior use.
Following further discussion, Council member Luecke made a motion, seconded
by Council Member Puzzello that Bill No. 23-95 be recommended favorably to Council.
The motion passed.
There being no further business to come before the Committee the meeting
was adjourned at 3:25 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Council Member Lee Slavinskas, Chairperson
Zoning and Annexation Committee
