INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DIVISION OF ENGINEERING <br />TO: Theresa Heffner, Administrative Assistant <br />Board of Public Works <br />FROM: Scott Kreeger, Project Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Project No. 122-056 <br />Sheridan & Riverside Parking Lane Resurface <br />DATE: October 5, 2022 <br />On September 27, 2022, the Board of Public Works opened and read quotes for the above <br />project. <br />The quotes were as follows: <br />Quotes Base Bid Amount <br />1.Day’s Construction $91,500 <br />After further view of the required documentation, Day’s Construction did not meet the good faith <br />efforts for the WBE goals nor make an attempt to obtain an WBE for the work. In addition, Day’s <br />Construction did not provide a breakdown of the cost for each individual line item as detailed in <br />the contract agreement. The Division of Engineering has reviewed the quote list above and <br />recommends that the Board reject all quotes. <br />Please call with your questions (9245). <br />Enc.
