Committee Report <br /> Personnel and Finance <br /> August 14, 1995 <br /> Page 2 <br /> On behalf of the City Administration, Mr. Jankowski formally requested that Bill <br /> No. 40-95 be continued until the meeting of August 28, 1995 when a substitute Bill would <br /> be provided for the Council. He also noted that the City Controller is asking for this <br /> continuance so that the Non-Bargaining Salary Ordinance could also be heard by the <br /> Common Council. <br /> Council Member Luecke noted that he has had discussions with Kevin Horton <br /> regarding the upcoming budget hearings. He stated that the would begin the week of <br /> August 28 with 2 overview meeting and then begin with the Department Heads the week <br /> after Labor Day. It was further noted that the proposed meetings of the Common Council <br /> would take place on September 11, September 18, and September 25 with the September <br /> 18 meeting perhaps being held earlier in light of the JACT convention which the City of <br /> South Bend is hosting. <br /> There being no further discussion by the Committee, the meeting was adjourned at <br /> 4:25 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Council Member Steve Luecke <br /> Chairperson,Personnel and Finance Committee <br /> Attachments <br />
