Committtt **port: <br /> Utilities Committee <br /> Z0 the Common Council of tbt eitv of Doutb Istutn <br /> The January 9, 1995 meeting of the Utilities Committee was called to order by <br /> Council Member Cleo Washington at 4:45 P.M.in the Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Puzzello, Kelly, Slavinskas, <br /> Zakrzewski, Washington, Coleman, Luecke, Duda, and Ladewski; Ann Brewneal, Jack <br /> Dillon, Bob Nagel, Ken Smidzinski, Don Porter, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. - <br /> Mr. Smidzinski then presented substitute Bill No. 127-94 which would amend <br /> Article 2 of Chapter 17 related to pretreatment requirements for the use of public sewers. <br /> It was noted that the substitute Bill incorporates 2 changes. The first is incorporated <br /> to clarify the oil and grease limitations and the second changes the PH limitations for New <br /> Energy from 12.5 to 12. He noted that a total of four basic changes are incorporated in <br /> response to recommendations made by the Environmental Protection Agency. <br /> Following discussion, Council Member Luecke made a motion, seconded by <br /> Council Member Coleman that substitute Bill No. 127-94 be recommended favorably to <br /> Council.
