Comm Wet Ztport: <br /> Public Works and Property Vacation Committee <br /> tbt Common (ounttl of tbt E ttp of fout1j *n : <br /> The September 11, 1995 meeting of the Public Works and Property Vacation <br /> Committee was called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member Ann Puzzello at 4:00 <br /> P.M.in the Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Puzzello, Luecke, Kelly, <br /> Slavinskas, Zakrzewski, Coleman, and Ladewski; Bill Eagan, Ann Kolata, Don Porter, <br /> and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Council Member Puzzello noted that the only item on the agenda was to review Bill <br /> No. 45-95 which is a proposed vacation of the second north-south alley west of south <br /> Carroll Street. <br /> Ann Kolata made the presentation. She noted that the alley in question is in the <br /> middle of disposition parcel number 34.The total area in question including the alley site is <br /> 1.04 acres. <br /> It was noted that the Board of Public Works sent a favorable recommendation dated <br /> September 11, 1995 (copy attached). <br /> Ms. Kolata further noted that the property in question once vacated would be used <br /> to relocate a business currently operating in Roseland, IN commonly known as Champion <br /> Soft Water. In response to a question raised by Council Member Coleman, it was noted <br /> that this is the second party interested in the parcel. <br /> Following discussion, Council Member Kelly made a motion, seconded by Council <br /> Member Zakrzewski that Bill No. 45-95 be recommended favorably to Council.
