<br /> <br /> <br />INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DIVISION OF ENGINEERING <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Theresa Heffner, Clerk <br />Board of Public Works <br />FROM: Scott Kreeger, Project Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Change Order No. 2 - Project No. 117-075 <br />School Zone Flashing Beacons <br />DATE: September 26, 2022 <br />As part of the current INDOT contract for the School Zone Flashing Beacons (DES#1801240), <br />the City of South Bend Division of Engineering has requested an additional 5 flashing beacons <br />with the intention of replacement parts for potential knockdowns and unforeseen damages. <br />These 5 beacons will be a non-participating item as it is outside the original scope of the project <br />and will be funded by the City. INDOT has approved the change order within the project for <br />$30,017.45 and will adjust the contract PO with Michiana Contracting to allow for the additional <br />flashing beacons. This acquisition is for supplies only. <br />
